How TurnoPro started
During his years running a hotel in Santander, Pablo Fernández saw how hard it was to get staff shifts right and how many hours it took. He even coded himself a very simple Android app just to cope.
Years later, by then a developer, he watched his partner build her hospitality team’s rotas in Excel. He remembered that old app and thought something similar, done properly and brought up to date, could save her a lot of time. He got straight to work: that is how TurnoPro was born.

Pablo Fernández Piña is the founder of elFen23SOFT, an independent studio in Santander, Spain, making games, apps and XR experiences.
After studying Computer Engineering in Donostia, he spent 17 years at a hotel in Santander, as assistant manager and then, from 2013 to 2019, as its director. In 2019 he moved into development: he earned Autodesk’s Maya certification, founded elFen23SOFT and, in 2021, qualified as an Advanced Technician in 3D Animation, Games and Interactive Environments.
TurnoPro, his first professional app on sale, brings both careers together.
